Estimate workspace

Summit Landscape Co.’s pricing, its rules and its materials. Nothing here is saved or sent.

Pricing as a worksheet rather than a black box. Change the man-hours on any row and every figure below it moves — the crew-days, the floor, the margin, the commission. Every number says where it came from, and the ones that came from a rule link through to it.

Still to confirm

3 open

The price above works without these. Each one is a figure this estimate assumed rather than read — an answer replaces the assumption, and can move the number.

  1. Written confirmation that row C can be closed for the crane on the 29th.
  2. Whether the two oaks over the transformer need the utility on site.
  3. Irrigation controller access — who holds the key to the box.

Assumed

3 assumptions

What each one rests on is named after it. A past estimate means the figure came off a real job; the account manager’s description means it came from what was reported about this one.

  • Water is available at the front entry islands during install. — The site walk on 8/14 — the spigot was there and running.
  • The crane can set up in the row C fire lane on a Saturday. — Property manager said weekend access is fine; not confirmed in writing.
  • Old sod goes out as green waste, not as contaminated spoil. — Nothing on site suggested otherwise.

Clauses that apply

  • Irrigation condition — Zone 4 is being repaired, and the rest of the system has not been inspected.
  • Plant establishment — New sod carries a watering obligation the property has to meet.

Each clause has a body held in the clause library, copied in verbatim — rewording one changes what it does.
